THE PHENOMENON!
Natasha Paremski performs Rachmaninoff’s piano concerto no. 2.

Although only 16 years old, Natasha has already won dozens of prizes, recorded with the Moscow Philharmonic and was chosen from hundreds of talented young virtuosi to debut at Carnegie Hall in February 2004 in the Rachmaninoff 2nd.

This phenomenon is about to conquer the musical world and should not be missed.
The Philharmonic will also perform the “Freedom Symphony,” music that so thrilled audiences that Russian authorities wanted to imprison its composer. Come and hear for yourself why today it is an audience favorite, and why the old Soviet leaders were so frightened by the power of the Shostakovich 5th Symphony.

“Natasha Paremski’s Rachmaninoff was nothing short of spectacular. Immensely gifted with uncommon elegance, power and flawless technique, she delivered the bravura piece with vibrant colors and breezy lyricism.” Greenville News.

“And can she play! Technique to burn, magic hands, mature stage presence, a real feeling for romanticism, the ability to handle blazingly rapid passagework…. all made to look very easy with no irrelevant body mannerisms.” San Francisco Classical Voice.

Sincere thanks to Gene and Billie Yeager for underwriting this concert.
